Holiday outfit ideas for the kids

Can you believe Thanksgiving is next week? I always feel like the holidays sneak up on us. I love to dress my kids up, but I also know that they need to be comfortable. Jack will be running around playing with all his cousins he hasn’t seen in a long time. I don’t think you have to sacrifice cute for comfy. For these looks, I purposefully found the items from stores offering free 2 day shipping (Target and Walmart) and stores that I’ve experienced a pretty quick delivery or it is easy to shop online and pick up in store (Old Navy). Cause who has time for that this week? And did I mention, every pick is under $20. Use code STYLE at Old Navy through 11/14 for 40% off most styles!

You’ll notice I stuck to somewhat of a basic color palette. I chose deep blues, maroon, and neutrals. These colors feel festive without being too “holiday” or “Christmas-y". I think these would be great, affordable options for Thanksgiving, but you could definitely use these for other holidays like Christmas and New Years.

First up - the babies! I’ve been having so much fun shopping for June, but I sure miss buying those cute little baby boy outfits. Below the image, you can find links to each piece. Enjoy!

Please feel free to pin the pictures and share it!

  1. Tan Coat - I could not believe the price on this coat. $12.97! Can you even believe it? It comes in 4 different colors in sizes 12 months - 5T. You’ll never believe where it’s from - Walmart! They are offering free 2 day shipping on select items.

  2. Blue Tulle Dress - I bought this for my baby girl and she is going to look so cute in this with some cream tights and headband!

  3. Maroon Corduroy Jumper - I also have this for June. Just pair it with a onesie and tights or knee highs. Adorable!

  4. Floral bodysuit - So cute and tons of different patterns. $6 with code STYLE

  5. Gray sweater dress - Great neutral - just pair with tights and bring some color with a bow!

  6. Maroon bow jumper - What a cute set! This would look great for Christmas too!

  7. Bows - Never forget a bow on your babe!

  8. Fox jumpsuit - Adorable set for a little boy

  9. Brown and blue vest set - So cute and cozy!

  10. Sweater knit romper - Love the shawl collar and for only 16!

  11. Striped sweater romper - So beautiful and only $16.

  12. Mocassins - Love baby mocassins and especially those that don’t break the bank!

  13. Maroon Jumper - Another shawl collar and this one is $12 with code STYLE

Next, I’ve shared some of my favorites for both boys and girls. Little pops of colors here and there to compliment each others’ outfits. See the links below the picture.

  1. Blue dress - That deep navy is oh so pretty!

  2. Pant and vest set - The girls don’t have to wear a dress to be cute! This pant and vest set is so cute and cozy!

  3. Tights - You have to have tights to complete the outfit! These are a great price!

  4. Maroon floral dress - Compliments all those other colors! Maroon or navy!

  5. Gold flats - The cutest little shoes and so affordable!

  6. Navy blue bow - with a bow on top to finish it off!

  7. Off-white sweater - Great neutral. Comes in Navy blue too!

  8. Pull on Cords - Don’t fuss with a zipper this holiday. Go from pre-party pants to post-turkey pants!

  9. Fair isle sweater - Love a good fair isle and this one compliments the maroons, blues, and creams in all of these outfits!

  10. Gray Sweater - Is your boy not a fan of the prints, this is a great neutral option!

  11. White Henley - Great basic to layer under those sweaters. Cute enough if he gets hot during the day.

  12. Khaki jogger - Ok these look like pants, but I’m pretty sure they are sweatpant material. Winning!

  13. Shoes - These look like they could be dressed up or down!

Well, there you have it! Don’t give up cuteness for comfort! And remember it doesn’t have to be expensive. Buy them things they can wear again. Most of these items can easily be dressed up or down for school, dinner, parties, or church. I hope you enjoyed these finds. Happy Thanksgiving!
