It’s hard to believe that Christmas is in just over a week. Just a few more days to get your online orders in for the holidays! Whenever family asks what my kids need for Christmas, I cringe and bite my nails a bit. They don’t really “need” anything. Poor June suffers from second child syndrome and will just inherit all Jack’s hand me down toys. I might sprinkle in a few girl toys here and there, but I’m sure she will be playing with trucks and Star Wars characters right alongside Jack. And that is totally ok! And I’m sure Jack will play with her Barbie dolls! (I’m sure this will come back to bite me in a few years!)

They will always need clothes because they grow like a weed; however, they already have all that “winter” stuff. All the buffalo plaid and cozy sweaters is already hanging in their closets. So, I try to find great pieces that will transition from winter into spring, and maybe even into summer. It’s all about the layers! Not many retailers carry these kind of clothes before Christmas or they are usually full price. And I very rarely, if ever, pay full price for kid’s clothing!

I rounded up my favorite winter to spring/summer transitional pieces at Gymboree. Make sure to use code MEMBERSONLY through 1/3/18 for an additional 30% off! Enjoy!
